01 — about me

Raising the quality bar, one release at a time.

Born in Perugia in 1993, I have always been passionate about computing. After a science-focused high school diploma at the “Galeazzo Alessi” Liceo and a degree in Information Engineering from the University of Perugia, I moved to Florence to start my career in Quality Assurance.

Today I look at the whole software lifecycle, working closely with development, product and operations so that every release is robust, scalable and uncompromising for the user.

04 — from my linkedin

Thinking out loud.

I write about test automation, software quality and how the tools of the trade are changing.

latest post

Selenium or Playwright? Wrong question.

Test automation has turned into a derby between the veteran and the newcomer. But in an enterprise context the real question isn't which one to pick: it's how to make them work together. A hybrid model that doesn't choose, but orchestrates.

05 — beyond code

Wine has its own
quality tests, too.

Since September 2025 I have been attending the AIS Sommelier course. It is another kind of analysis: method, attention to detail and a rigorous protocol, applied to the glass instead of the code.

I am currently on level three, the last one, focused on food and wine pairing.

In the glass: a Franciacorta Pas Dosé.

Dry, elegant, and it never lets you down.
